Your colon has a job to do. It is suppose to rid your body of waste material, bacteria and it is to absorb water and mineral salts. It also has the job of maintaining fluid and electrolyte balance within the body. When your colon cannot perform its job well because it is clogged with impacted fecal matter toxins form that can cause disease within your body.
Health problems that result from an unhealthy colon are: abdominal pain, constipation, lack of energy, acne and other skin irritations and even colon cancer. These health issues are caused by an unhealthy bowel, which is partly caused by unhealthy eating and drinking habits. One bad habit is overeating or under-eating. We also consume toxic substances when we take in processed foods, microwave-cooked food, white flour, caffeine, sugar, aspartame, hydrogenated fats or deep fried foods.
Your colon can cleanse itself naturally when you start to eat healthy foods. Fiber is the first thing that must be adjusted in your diet. Your body needs adequate amounts of fiber every day. The average person needs 25 - 30 grams of fiber daily. You can take fiber supplements dissolved in water, in capsule form or in the foods you eat.
Adequate amounts of water are absolutely essential for a healthy colon. Everyone should drink half of their weight in pure non-carbonated water. An example of how much water to drink each day would be if you weighted 150 pounds, then you should drink 75 ounces of water each day. 75 ounces of water is approximately 2 liters of water that should be consumed each day.
Herbal colon cleanses are a natural and easy way to get a healthy colon. There is herbal colon cleansing recipes that you can locate online or you can find them in most local health stores. If you purchase a herbal colon cleanse, be sure to follow the instructions carefully. You can also purchase colon-cleansing teas, which are sold in packets. Be sure to use these colon-cleansing teas in moderation as you do not want to have too frequent bowel movements or you could become dehydrated.
Fiber is important anytime, but especially when you are doing a colon cleanse. You can get adequate amounts by eating cereal that contains fiber for breakfast or whole grain bread. Fruits and vegetables also contain fiber. Make sure you drink lots of water while you are eating your raw fruits and vegetables.
To keep your colon healthy and functioning properly take good care of it by eating raw fruits and vegetables, fiber cereals or whole grain breads. You can also keep your colon healthy by cleansing it naturally with herbs and herbal teas.

Burnt By Your Colon Cleanse? Wonder What Made The Manufacturer Do It?
The universality of the Internet makes it the best place to find killer bargains but it also makes it the premier piece of real estate for hoaxes, quackery, snake oil salesman, and mountebanks. Herbal supplements in particular are quite possibly the favorite good to hawk by those who do not worry about the consumer but instead are ready, willing, and apparently quite able to line their pockets with your hard earned money. Colon cleansers in particular have the dubious distinction of being heavily marketed with the help of affiliates and thus the danger of getting burnt by this product is higher than it is with other supplements. Of course, the fact that the results of getting burned are much more readily visible most likely helped the supplements make the hall of shame since other dietary supplements that do not work as indicated may take years to catch.
Some manufacturers are simply ruthless. The company executives know that their herbal concoctions do not work but their selfish greed supersedes any concern for the consumer who may be suffering from very real health conditions that prompt them to purchase the colon cleanser. As a consumer you can protect yourself by finding out who owns the company or who runs it. By running an Internet search through public record agencies, you will be able to find out if the owners of the company from whom you are considering ordering your colon cleanser have already been in business elsewhere or are currently involved in other ventures as well.
If you are trying to forego the danger of affiliate marketers you may find yourself contacting any one of the several clinics devoted to colon health which advertise their very own blends of colon cleansers on the ‘Net. While this approach does provide a bit more safety due to the fact that the company is rarely a fly by night operation, the danger you will most likely encounter here is found in the very belief system of the owner. For example, if a religious fanatic runs the company, she or he will be convinced that the colon cleanse being sold through the clinic or organization is directly tied in to the mind of the universe’s creator, and therefore any criticism of the product is akin to heresy. You will find that the rhetoric involved when speaking of studies that question the effectiveness of the product is usually consistent with that of religious organizations that believe themselves persecuted. In the same way, you will find that when you express your dissatisfaction with the product you suddenly are no longer treated like a valued customer but instead like an opponent who is only too willing to take down a reputable company.
The reasons for manufacturers to make and sell colon cleanses that simply do not work are plentiful and it is up to the consumer to be very careful and do a lot of research before purchasing any herbal supplement via the ‘Net. Having an independent third party, such as a physician, take a look at the claims made by the manufacturer as well as read the label of the actual colon cleanse prior to your beginning the regimen is a good way of ensuring that you will get what you pay for.

Colon Cleansers Provide Relief for Irritable Bowel Sufferers
Irritable Bowel Syndrome - in the past – was thought to be a catch-all phrase when physicians were unable to pinpoint the exact cause for their patient’s gastrointestinal complaints. While in some instances this may be correct, the facts bear out that there is true medical condition described by this term.
Bloating that is excessive and seemingly unrelated to diet is experienced by a number of patients. The pain is so extreme that it may keep the sufferer home.
Both constipation and diarrhea are observed with this syndrome and they appear to be interchangeably present at one time or another. Once again, while the occasional bout of constipation or diarrhea is not uncommon, it is the severity as well as the consistency with which it occurs that makes it different.
Cramps, flatulence, and overall abdominal pain have also been reported.
It is imperative that the sufferer visits a medical professional to rule out internal blockages and other obstructions prior to submitting to a diagnosis of Irritable Bowel Syndrome. In the same vein, consider having several allergy tests run to rule out lactose intolerance and any other food allergy that you might not have thought of. In addition to the foregoing, a fecal float is a wise precaution to determine if you are suffering from a parasitic infection that needs to be treated so as to remove both parasites and their eggs.
If all these tests come back negative, then your Irritable Bowel Syndrome will most likely leave you begging for relief. It will be up to you to recognize the situations and foods that cause flare ups of the condition. Whenever you experience a painful recurrence of the syndrome, write down exactly when, where, and how it occurred. Document what you ate in the 24 hours preceding the episode, and also what your mood was in the same time frame. Some patients have found that their episodes are triggered by stress, such as it may be related to public speaking, and also by dietary components such as foods high in fiber or those that are prone to produce gas.
While it may appear to be at odds for someone who reports problems with fiber to undergo a colon cleanse, the good news is that some of the colon cleansers currently on the market do not rely on the tried and true psyllium husks to help clean out the colon and instead trust in oxygenated magnesium and other components. Discuss the use of such products with your doctor and then commit to a complete colon cleanse. Generally speaking, the regimens that take three, five or even seven days are the most effective since they will provide you with the time necessary to permit the body to rid itself of accumulated fecal matter and thus also evacuate toxins that may have been building up in that fecal matter. Quite a few sufferers from Irritable Bowel Syndrome have found a complete loss of symptoms altogether once a colon cleanse was successfully completed.

Colon Cleansing Cautions
Doctors will at times prescribe a colon cleansing to be done just before a procedure like a colonoscopy. There are many persons who will routinely do colon cleansing to rid their body of toxins. When doing colon cleansings it is important to understand your body's natural ability to care for the colon so as not to disturb the delicate balance that happens with the electrolyte balance and the natural balance of bodily fluids. If colon cleansing is done on a long-term basis or if you do excessive cleansing you can cause problems such as anemia, malnutrition or even heart failure. It is important to understand when a colon cleanse is necessary and when it is best to let your body do its own cleansing.
Constipation:
Many individuals feel the need to do a colon cleanse when they are constipated. Constipation is your body's way of signaling the need for more fiber in the diet and the need for more water. By giving your body what it needs, more water and fiber, the constipation will correct itself. If you are younger than 50 you should be getting 25 grams of fiber a day if you are a woman and 38 grams of fiber a day if you are a man. If you are older than 50 you should be consuming 30 grams of fiber a day if a man and 21 grams of fiber a day if you are a woman.
There are practices that some report to be beneficial to your colon that may have harmful consequences if used incorrectly or excessively. Such practices are laxative usage, colonic irrigation and herbal cleanses.
Laxatives such as cascara or castor oil can cause damage to nerve cellin in the colon wall. If nerve cells are damaged the colon decreases the force of contractions, which will increase the occurance of constipation.
Colonic irrigation can be expensive as much as $75 for each session with up to 6 sessions being recommended. Colonic irrigation needs to be sterilized between treatments otherwise diseases can be spread from one patient to another. Heart failure can occur is excessive fluid is absorbed into the bloodsteam causing an electrolyte imbalance. There has been no licensing or training to operate a colonic-irrigation device. in 1985, a California judge ruled that colonic irrigation was an invasive procedure and said that it may not be performed because it did no good and could only bring harm. This according to the National Council Against Health Fraud, 1995.

Candida Reduced During Colon Cleanse

Yeast infections are annoying and embarrassing. The most well known form comes under the name of Candida albicans, and when you peruse the medicinal aisle of your local well stocked health food market, you will find that several supplements claim to help rid your body of this yeast. As tempting as this offer may sound, beware the use of such supplements since Candida is actually part and parcel of your gut flora, the very bacteria you rely on to keep your intestines healthy, your food digested, and your gut overall too unfriendly for many harmful bacteria to thrive. Seeking to eradicate Candida albicans will upset the always precarious balance of beneficial bacteria in your intestines and thus will create several gastrointestinal problems.
There are several steps you can take to naturally and behaviorally affect the numbers of these bacteria:
Drastically reduce your intake of antacids. Instead of relying on these substances to calm your stomach, change your diet to eliminate the offending foods instead of following up dinner or lunch with a course of medication.
Avoid taking antibiotics unless there is no other course of action available. Whenever possible you should stay away from antibiotics anyways, but in this case Candida is known to flourish and take over the gut flora when the drugs ingested will decimate the otherwise naturally occurring microorganisms in your intestines. The result is an ever growing population of Candida albicans.
Stay away from alcohol, processed sugary foods and also gluten.
Interestingly, your choice of birth control may also have an impact on your gut flora. Any method that impacts the hormonal balance of the body – injection, patch, or pill – will have a potentially adverse affect on the microorganisms in your intestines.
Fortunately, there are several steps you can take to reduce your yeast bacteria and they do not involve the use of harsh supplements that take out even the beneficial strains of Candida.
1.Begin a seven day colon cleanse regimen and stick to the dietary change this involves. Usually you will be required to ingest larger quantities of water, eat home made broth, and in some cases stay away from solid food altogether. Make sure that you completely understand the colon cleansing process in its entirety before you begin the regimen. Choose a colon cleanser that specifically includes agents that will rid your system of bacteria and intestinal parasites alongside the built up fecal matter. Ingredients listings will be clear about this purpose.
2.As you are undergoing your cleansing, plan a new dietary course to keep going on even after the colon cleanse is finished. This should include organic fruits and vegetables, eaten raw whenever possible, and also whole grains.
3.At the end of your colon cleanse, utilize supplementation that is geared toward introducing beneficial bacteria back to your colon. Remember that with the evacuation of built up fecal matter you most likely will also be loosing a lot of the beneficial bacteria on which you rely to keep your intestines healthy in the first place.

Can Pets Benefit From Colon Cleansings?
If you are a pet lover, you are bound to have fed your dog or cat a little treat here and there that might have adversely affected the animal’s regularity. Yet since pets usually are kept on a healthy diet simply by virtue of eating food specifically formulated for them, thoughts of kitty constipation and doggie diarrhea are rare, and such incidences usually point to another more serious health problem. While dogs seem to have little problems with constipation – possibly in part because they are like eating machines who will keep on eating until a bowel movement is produced – cats are more finicky. As a matter of fact, cats are highly susceptible to intestinal problems, but will only display symptoms once the problems have progressed to such an extent that veterinary intervention is necessary.
You will notice that your cat is not his own happy self when he chooses your Persian rug to defecate. Assuming that your pet thus far was a model of litter box conscientiousness and also that there is no other animal misbehaving on said rug, the mere fact that the animal will produce a bowel movement on the rug instead in its proper place is a warning sign to the pet owner. You may also notice him dragging his anus against the rug, trying to lift one leg a bit and basically do whatever he thinks might work to evacuate his bowels, yet with dismal results. The animal is finally letting you in on the secret that his health is not all it is supposed to be, and this should be taken serious. The wise pet owner will bag the feces and make a visit to the vet as soon as possible.
Most likely the veterinarian will elect to do a fecal float so as to rule out parasites and also run some blood tests to make sure that constipation is not related to diabetes. Additionally, a manual palpitation of the abdomen is done to ensure that no physical obstructions exist. If all these tests come back negative, the veterinarian will most likely perform a kitty colon cleansing which is done by an enema. If the fecal matter is extremely compacted, the vet may choose an anesthetic and utilize a small scraper to help evacuate some feces in the hopes that the rest will push through from behind.
Once the feline’s colon has been cleansed, your veterinarian will most likely suggest that you consider a special diet for your pet. If he is overweight, then your vet will be more urgent about this suggestion, and it is a good idea to take him up on it. A change in diet will most likely revolve around prescription diets that have measurably higher fiber content than other commercially available pet food. While the cost of this food is higher than what you would pay out at the grocery store, the amount of money you save in vet bills for the bi-monthly kitty enema is well worth the extra expense. Furthermore, you vet may also decide that your cat needs supplementation of a light laxative and several such substances may be purchased at the local big box pet supply stores.

Colon Cleanse, a Healthy Diet, And Exercise Make for a Healthy Life
Colon-cleanse, a healthy diet, and exercise make for a healthy life. This statement is so full of truth that little more needs to be said on the subject. Would that it were that simple! The reality shows that for a variety of reasons this simple truth has been perverted to a billion dollar industry that is the supplementation market. How often have you known those that are seeking health and fitness but not in a properly stocked pantry or inside a gym but from within a bottle of nutritional supplements? Nobody is exempted from this folly; doctors are just as guilty as star athletes and busy moms who would never, ever suggest to their growing teenage daughters to ingest the supplements that they themselves are taking with every meal.
Here is a step by step approach to achieving a healthy life the right way:
1.If you are suffering from abdominal pain, constipation, and severe flatulence, but fail to produce at least two bowel movement a day – even after eating a big meal – you need to use a colon cleanse. There are several ways to go about it. You can increase the intake of fiber and water in an effort to flush out your colon, but in most severe cases the use of a colon cleanse supplement is indicated. A mild laxative combined with fiber and adequate water will permit the colon to flush out a buildup of fecal matter that has hardened and attached itself to the inner lining of the intestines. Usually three to five days need to be devoted to this process.
2.As your colon is cleansed, you need to find a healthy diet that will work for you. Stay away from fads and the kinds of diets that incorporate food choices which do not appeal to you. In the same vein, stay away from those diets that are top heavy by relying heavily on one food group to the exclusion of others. Generally speaking, these diets are unhealthy and will negatively impact your heart health, liver, and kidneys. In some cases they will also lead to an unhealthy and potentially dangerous imbalance of electrolytes and the risk of stroke and heart attacks becomes very real.
3.The benefits derived from healthy exercise cannot be bottled and sold over the counter. Thus, stay away from any supplementation that seeks to build muscles or increase strength. Instead, build up your muscles gradually and consistently and what you might be lacking in visible bulk you will more than make up for in actual strength. Weight training, aerobics, and strength training are all wonderful exercises and it pays to find an exercise regimen that you will enjoy. Ease your way into it and do not overdo it!
It might be worthwhile to hire a personal trainer for a couple of sessions and review your dietary plan with a registered dietician to make sure you are not missing anything important. Last but not least, before using a colon cleanser make sure your doctor takes a look at the list of ingredients to be certain that it is healthy and gentle and will not leave you with undesirable side effects.

Colon Cleansing for Your Health

If you found your way into this site, you're probably suffering from some sort of ailment, whether it's constipation, acne, candida, brain fog, or just a constant feeling of sluggishness. Most likely, that ailment is related some way to the colon.
You see, the colon is one organ that indirectly and directly affects all the other organs in the body. When it's clogged up, the liver can't do its job properly. When the liver can't work efficiently, the kidney suffers, etc. So to start curing our symptoms and to get better, we must first start cleansing the colon.
The truth is our colon, for most of us, is in an unhealthy state, filled with mucoid plaque, toxins, and a complete mess. Our colon is clogged, leading to constipation. How did we reach this state? Through a combination of a bad diet, poor lifestyle choices, and bad living conditions.
Take, our diet for instance. Most Americans consume too much protein. Protein is necessary, and completely healthy, but too much can lead to over-acidity, which is not good. An overabundance of acid in the body can take a toll on the colon, as it depletes necessary minerals and electrolytes from our body. This then leads to the inability of the colon to tackle harmful bacteria, and toxins.
Many of us also overeat. We all know weight gain is a huge problem, but that notwithstanding, eating too much in one sitting can have serious long-term effects. Ideally, we shouldn't eat more than a handful of food in 1 meal. Overeating leads to an overuse of enzymes, and can cause our colon to work even harder

Beware the Sodium Phosphate Colon Cleanse!
Whenever a physician may prescribe a colonoscopy, you know that you will need to cleanse your colon so that the doctor will have an unobstructed view of your gastrointestinal tract. Many of the colon cleansers that were suggested to patients prior to these procedures contained sodium phosphate – usually monosodium phosphate also known as NaH2PO4 – because of its ability to act as a laxative that quickly cleans out the intestines. For this reason it is not surprising that soon the commercially available colon cleansing kits for use by those who wanted to detoxify their colons for health purposes and not just in preparation of tests were also containing that ingredient.
Yet in recent years it has become known that colon cleansers which contain sodium phosphate are actually posing some very serious health risks. Perhaps the most serious condemnation comes from physicians who have begun to associate the substance with kidney damage. Granted, it takes a certain susceptibility for this side effect to occur, but there is little gained in hoping that you do not fit the demographic profile associated with experiencing kidney problems. Consider the fact that you would not know whether or not your kidneys are already suffering from a lack of functionality; as a matter of fact, unless they were adversely impacted to such an extent that they are nearing an operating range of less than half their usual ability to filter out toxins, you might not even notice that anything is amiss at all. In addition to the foregoing, several natural detoxifying agents that were all the rage just a few short years ago have shown to actually aggravate the condition of impaired kidneys. If at this point in time you further aggravate a kidney that is already suffering from decreased function by introducing substances that carry a high risk for problem development, you know that the odds of your experiencing the side effect are indeed great.
At the root of the problem lies the fact that the phosphates which will make their ways through the kidneys as they are digested actually never leave them and instead remain in the kidneys and there turn into calcified remnants. The insidious effect will not become obvious until well after you complete your colon cleanse or maybe even after you have completed another one. Sadly the damage your kidneys experience is permanent and irreversible. The resulting consequence showcases a loss of functionality of the affected kidney, as it is expressed in a decrease in filtering ability and an increase in the amount of toxins that are permitted to invade your body.
Safe and viable alternatives are available to both patients who are ready to undergo a test for colon health and those private individuals who want to undergo a colon cleanse for the sake of their health. If you do not wish to research the natural organic cleansers, opt for the chemical cleansers that are deemed safe by the experts; they include cleansers which rely on polyethylene glycol or magnesium citrate as their main ingredient.

Are Purveyors Of Colon Cleansers Taking You To The Cleaners’?
Colon health is increasingly entering the mainstream thought process. Most everyone knows about the urban legend that asserted John Wayne - the John Wayne of fame and fortune who was the quintessential American tough man, hero, and as true blue as the meat he consumed was red – upon his death had an intestine packed tight with over 40 pounds of compressed fecal matter, blamed in part on his diet. For the record, this story about Mr. Wayne is a complete and utter fabrication; first of all, since he died from natural causes an autopsy was never performed and thus no quantity of feces was removed and weighed while secondly, in the interest of complete disclosure, the vile rumor that began circulating about Mr. Wayne’s colon health was in part spawned by his death of stomach cancer which may have been a resurgence of the lung cancer which went into remission earlier on in his life.
Yet for a number of years this urban legend was utilized by scrupulous purveyors of colon cleansers to scare customers into buying their regimens. Considering the fact that many of these supplements cost about $49.99 or more a bottle, and remembering that many manufacturers suggest the purchase of at least two but preferably more of their bottles of supplements to do a complete cleanse, it is not surprising that those who find themselves disillusioned by the fictitious claims to have been taken to the cleaners. Granted, it is easy to simply do away the whole colon cleansing idea as a little more than a fad procedure aimed at those with the coinage to support their latest health craze, but this would be akin to throwing out the baby with the bathwater.
Colon health is an important factor in any person’s overall wellbeing, and considering the fact that most Americans eat a diet that is dismal and by and large unhealthy, it will be wise to take whatever steps are available to ensure the health of the colon and gastrointestinal tract by other means, if necessary. At the same time, you do not want to fall for fictitious health claims, overblown data, and downright untrue assertions that are geared to scaring you into buying supplements. Add to this the high cost of the supplements, and this advice makes sense.
Yet did you know that it is not just the occasional dishonest seller of the colon cleanses who is taking you to the cleaners but also many of the manufacturers? It is questionable who is more at fault, but if you consider that a colon cleanse, marketed as such, which contains mainly psyllium husks and a few herbs in addition will sell for about $50 while a psyllium husk supplement by itself will sell for about $5, it quickly becomes obvious that as a discerning consumer you need to do your homework well! Since quite a few of the herbs associated with psyllium husk cleansers have very little effect other than to prevent cramping or promoting overall wellbeing, you could conceivably do a colon cleanse with just the inexpensive psyllium husks, vitamin and mineral supplements, and a generous intake of water. Discuss your plans with your physician and you will find that a healthy colon cleanse without an outrageous price tag is actually quite achievable.

Alternative Methods of Colon Cleansing
Colon cleansing supplements are tried and true methods of helping your gastrointestinal tract to flush out built up fecal matter. The average American consumer is known for living on a diet of sugary sodas, fast food, sodium, grease, and empty calories. Since it begins as early as preschool, it is not surprising to see today’s obese school children unpack lunch totes which contain food offerings that are about as nutritious and healthy as the containers in which they come. Even those who are health conscious find it hard to eat healthy and nutritious foods, and instead often find that time crunches and simple unavailability of better choices makes them opt for non-organic fruits and vegetables and processed foods rather than raw foods.
Thus it is safe to say that almost everyone is in need of the occasional colon cleanse to express fecal matter that has built up over time. The reason that these substances are not properly voided may simply be found in the inability of the colon to do so without the help of proper nutritional help. Without the amount of dietary fiber that helps to keep the colon regular, the amount of bowel movements will be seriously curtailed. Thus, it is not surprising to find individuals who go tow or three days without any bowel movements at all, even though all the time they are eating and digesting food. The results point clearly toward a build up of fecal matter that must be evacuated.
Yet you may not have to do a colon cleanse as often as you think. As a matter of fact, there are a number of alternative methods of colon cleansing:
Drink a lot of water or even green tea. This should spell a significant increase in your daily fluid intake. Obviously, you do not want to overdo it, but since the average American is a far cry shy of the recommended eight glasses of water a day, simply upping your intake to meet that requirement may be what you need to get things moving in your colon.
The next step includes a colon rest. This may be seen as a temporary fast where you only ingest water and some fiber in the form of supplements. Since your colon will not have to contend with food to digest, it can instead continue processing the substances currently in your system, properly digest whatever is already in your gastrointestinal tract, and evacuate fecal matter.
If this still does not provide the desired results, you may find that an increase in fluids, a temporary fast, and the ingestion of actual colon cleansing supplements will be required. Carefully choose the supplementation since some natural ingredients are not safe and healthy for each and every consumer. When you find a safe colon cleanser, make sure you read the instructions completely before beginning and then follow them to the letter. This will in almost every case help you to clean out your colon.
As a last resort, you may also wish to consider colonic irrigation or hydrotherapy. This will involve a visit to an alternative health practitioner who is well trained in these procedures.

Alleviate Excessive Sweating With Colon Cleanses
What does a colon cleanse have to do with getting rid of your excessive sweating problem, you might ask? Everything! Sure, the areas where you sweat, probably underneath your arms and perhaps your back, are far removed from your colon and thus it appears unlikely that something as far removed as your colon will somehow affect the way your armpits feel. Yet this is fallacious thinking in that it entirely negates the fact that bodily functions and the internal workings of the human body are intricately interconnected.
While sweating is a normal condition that is healthy and indeed supports the physical body, the presence of foul odors or the over stimulation of the sweat glands is not normal and instead may be related to toxins that are coursing through your body. These toxins may be found in a variety of different locations, but your gastrointestinal tract is a very likely culprit. Consider the fact that what the average American consumes is quite commonly loaded with toxins, such as pesticides, remnants of commercial fertilizer, growth hormones found in cattle and other animals that are being consumed, and also antibiotics given to these animals, and it is not surprising that over time this toxicity begins to build up.
Since the American diet is notoriously low in fiber and exercise is much talked about yet rarely performed, it is not surprising that colons throughout the nation are gradually becoming breeding grounds of dangerous bacteria and even viruses, while cases of Candida are erupting. Gut flora is imbalanced, the digestive process no longer operates as efficiently as it is designed to do, and fecal matter is beginning to compact inside the colon. Over time, the buildup of fecal matter that has not been evacuated will provide even more space for toxins to develop and before long you will have these toxins being released into your body on a daily basis. As you body is trying to fight them and rid itself of them, it will most likely try to sweat them out – thus you will be faced with odiferous sweat that simply does not seem to stop.
A colon cleanse may be the answer to your sweating problem! Alleviating excessive sweating with colon cleanses is as simple as removing the buildup of fecal matter inside your colon. Several supplements are available that not only help your body to liquefy the hardened substances but which will also provide that extra push to evacuate the mess. Once the fecal matter leaves your body, the toxins will be leaving with it, and you will find that the cycle is broken. While it may still take a few days after your colon cleanse for the body to sweat out the remaining toxins, within a week the odiferous sweating should have stopped and you should be going back to sweating normally and only when conditions warrant it. Capitalize on your cleansed colon by changing your dietary habits to reflect a healthier lifestyle filled with whole grains, organic fruits and vegetables and plenty of clean water!

System Detoxification Begins and Ends with Colon Cleanse
Perhaps it is the approach of the New Year that has you thinking about a system detox or maybe it is the advent of a big birthday that includes a zero behind the first number. The fact that you are thinking about taking better care of your body is good news and you are undoubtedly chomping at the bit to get started. Yet before you rush down to the health food store – perhaps for the first time – and run the risk of filling up your cart with a wide variety of supplements you may or may not need and spend a lot of money on supplements and cleanses that may be counteracting one another, consider what it is that you are trying to accomplish. To this end, you will want to list the conditions that you are currently noticing about yourself and how you want things to change.
A sample list could look something like this:
“I need to lose weight.” Since you want to live a healthier life you know that a bunch of diet pills with questionable ingredients are not the answer, and thus you know that you will need to include exercise on your list.
Therefore, the next entry could read “I want to increase my energy so I can exercise.” A lack of energy points to inadequate nutrition and you know you will need to make dietary changes. Yet it also may point toward your body’s inability to adequately absorb nutrients. Thus, a colon cleanse will ensure that your gastrointestinal tract is operating at peak performance.
This might also be the time that you realize you are suffering from frequent headaches whenever you try to exert yourself. You know this may come from toxins still in the body, and thus your next entry may read “I need to detoxify my liver.”
While this is only a very brief sample, it does illustrate the point that you need to understand your goals and also your limitations. Overcoming your limitations with system cleanses is possible, but you need to ensure that all supplementation you are considering is working in concert with one another. If you have never used natural supplements before, you may wish to make an appointment with an alternative healer so that she or he will be able to guide you through your first system cleanse.
Even though there are system cleanse kits, it is wise to be weary of them. It is next to impossible to detoxify your entire body at the same time, and it makes much more sense to use supplements that are geared toward specific systems and thereby cleanse your body one system at a time. Those in the know suggest that you start with a colon cleanse, then do the other cleanses, and then follow it up with another colon cleanse. While this is not set in stone, it does ensure that you will not be accumulating any waste products as you are doing your body cleanses. Similarly, since toxins are being shed, you will want to make sure that they do not get lodged in the gastrointestinal tract in fecal matter which the first cleanse might have failed to flush out.

Colon cleanse for Healthy Lifestyle
A Colon Cleanse starts off a Healthy Lifestyle
Colon cleanses are marketed as being the answer to toxins invading your body on a daily basis. Citing the toxins that surround us on a daily basis and pointing an accusing finger at the fast food industry and the prepackaged meals that rely on overly processed foods, refined sugar, and fat and salt to make them palatable, proponents argue that that a colon cleanse done annually is a requirement for healthy living. The thought is not that far fetched when you consider the fact that the average American diet is sadly devoid of adequate amounts of dietary fiber – the very substance that permits the colon to evacuate fecal matter efficiently and continuously. It is therefore not unheard of that fecal matter will not be expelled but instead remains in the gut and hardens while it attaches itself to the intestinal walls. The use of drugs and prescription medications in some cases will add to this problem and thus a colon cleanse is a very real first step for a healthy lifestyle.
Another component of this dilemma is the fad diet industry that keeps money changing hands at an alarming rate. Believing that a slimmer waistline is for sale in a bottle, millions of consumers have starved themselves, supplemented their intake of the most awful foods, and gradually made themselves sicker and heavier. None of the fad diets work in the long run, for if they did, the obesity crisis that is currently being exposed in the Unites States would have ended long before it began. Yet because of the hype, clever marketing, and short term results associated with most fad diets, these dietary regimens and supplementation plans continue to be sought after.
A colon-cleanse starts off a healthy lifestyle simply by demanding a break from whatever diet you are currently on. It does not matter if you are a devout disciple who worships daily at the altar that is the drive through window of the local fast food joint, or the staunch believer in a low-carbohydrate, high protein fare that leaves your heart and intestines reeling with the cholesterol laden foods – a colon cleanse will interrupt the cycle you are in and require you to try out healthy fruits and vegetables. Furthermore, it will encourage you to reacquaint yourself with whole grain foods that provide a lot of dietary fiber necessary for the healthy functioning of your colon.
Therefore it is the psychological aspect of a colon cleansing ritual that provides the most benefit for those seeking to change their lifestyle and instead of embracing a fad diet or an unhealthy way of living are looking for alternatives. Furthermore, the colon cleanse will provide the break you need to wean yourself off the harmful foods you have been eating. By providing you the satisfaction of knowing that you are actively engaged in doing something good and healthy for your body, you will be further enticed to take the next step by learning more about proper nutrition and stepping away from your minimalist and limited view of foods. These new discoveries pave the way to the inclusion of a healthy exercise program, and before you know it, the colon cleanse you thought would only help the overall health of your colon is also affecting your lifestyle.
